The Victorian Government today announced that Victoria will this week hit the 90 per cent vaccination milestone, and that from 11:59pm Thursday 18 November, almost all remaining restrictions in Victoria will ease.
From 11:59PM THURSDAY 18 NOVEMBER the following information changes will be made that are relevant to retail:
- No caps or density limits for cafes, restaurants, and retail
- Masks will be required for:
o Workers and customers at indoor retail
o Workers serving the public at hospitality venues
- Vaccination status: non-essential retail will be open only to those who are fully vaccinated, under 12 years and 2 months, or have a valid exemption.

he Victorian Government announced that Victoria will this week hit the 80 per cent vaccination milestone, and that from 6:00pm Friday 29 October, Victoria will move forward in opening up and more restrictions will fall away.
From 6:00PM FRIDAY 29 OCTOBER regional Victoria and Metro Melbourne come together under the same rules. The following information is relevant to retail:
- All retail open
- Hairdressing, beauty, personal care – open for fully vaccinated people
- Restaurants and cafes – open for seated service to fully vaccinated people indoors (DQ4) and non-seated service to up to 500 fully vaccinated people outdoors (DQ2)
- Masks are required inside.
The next milestone in the Roadmap will be when Victoria hits the 90% of 12+ fully vaccinated, predicted to be from 24th November. At this time all gathering limits, capacity and density limits will no longer apply. At this time, retail, hospitality and entertainment venues can operate at maximum capacity subject to vaccination requirements and COVIDSafe measures.
As an essential service we continue to remain open, however as per the government snap lockdown announcement there will be some changes in the way you shop with us.
Restrictions apply to metropolitan Melbourne and remain in effect continuing from
11:59PM THURSDAY 19 AUGUST until 11:59PM THURSDAY 2 SEPTEMBER as follows:
- Curfew: From 9pm to 5am, a person is not permitted to leave their home except for limited reasons.
- Woolworths and BWS: will now close at 8:30pm every night, 30 minutes before the curfew begins.
- There are only five reasons to leave home: getting the food and supplies you need, exercising for up to two hours, care or caregiving, authorised work or education if you can’t do it from home, or to get vaccinated at the nearest possible location.
- Travel limit of 5km: Shopping and exercise must be done within 5km of your home or nearest location.
- Face masks will remain mandatory indoors and outdoors unless an exception applies. Exception for food and drink limited so that face coverings can only be removed to eat and to drink non-alcoholic beverages.
- Supermarkets, fresh food stores, pharmacies, liquor, petrol and medical centres will be open for trade.
- Cafes & Restaurants will be open for Takeaway Only.
ALL OTHER RETAIL STORES WILL BE CLOSED.

MANDATORY FACE MASKS
As directed by the Vic State Government, you must wear a face mask in all indoor settings, including Lilydale Marketplace, unless you have a lawful reason for not doing so, or children under the age of 12.
CHECK-IN WHEN YOU VISIT
It is a requirement that you to check in at Lilydale Marketplace, as well as any retailers you visit, by using QR Codes provided and available to you at all entry points into the centre.
PHYSICAL DISTANCING
Always keep at least 1.5 metres between yourself and others.
PERSONAL HYGIENE
Wash your hands regularly and use the sanitiser stations located throughout the Centre for your convenience.
