The festive season is a time of giving, and this year, the Rotary Club of Lilydale invites you to be part of something truly special — the 2025 Christmas Gift Wishing Tree Appeal at Lilydale Marketplace Shopping Centre. Running from early November to early December, this heartwarming initiative supports children and young people in foster care, kinship care, and families facing hardship. For many of these children, the gift they receive through this appeal may be the only one they open on Christmas morning — a powerful reminder that they are seen, valued, and loved. How It Works: Visit Lilydale Marketplace and find our beautifully decorated Wishing Tree in front of Donut King Select a tag representing a child or young person in need Purchase a suitable gift or gift card Return your gift with the tag to the donation box next to the Wishing Tree All gifts will be distributed by our trusted partners — Anchor, a local community services provider, and the Lilydale Proactive Policing Unit, wh o work closely with vulnerable families in our area. Why It Matters: Your generosity helps restore dignity and joy to young lives during a season that can be especially difficult for those in care or crisis. Every gift is a message of hope — a symbol that someone cares. We’re proud to continue this tradition and grateful to all who make it possible, including our past supporters like Knight Frank.
